Michigan Vacation - August 10 2023

  On the way home we stopped to visit Barbara  and Don Philips and also Betty Baer (pictured) , Tom's first cousin. They all live in Deshler, Ohio.

 Betty has a terrific cactus plant in her front yard. The blooms were magnificent. Yes, she said it survives winter in Ohio.

 While traveling, most eateries don't allow dogs. So we eat in the parking lot, hopefully finding a shady spot. This was at a Burger King.

 How does Parker travel? Easily! We have a blanket which we open on our laps and the person in the passenger seat serves as a bed. Parker takes advantage of it.
